Myopia is the medical term for short-sightedness. This means objects in the distance become blurry, and this typically starts to develop during early school years eg aged 6-16 years.
Unfortunately we can’t cure myopia, but for children of school age, there are a number of techniques we can use that (In recent studies) slow down it’s progression.
One of the methods to maintain and improve myopia is the use of Mi Sight daily disposable lenses by Coopervision. We are officially authorised to consult and fit these FDA approved daily disposable contact lenses for the purpose of slowing myopia progression in children.
