OCT Retinal Health Check - Spectralis

You may have heard of OCT exams, but not all OCT exams are equal. Using cutting-edge technology,  our SPECTRALIS OCT machine locks onto your unique retinal signature to allow accurate, on-going monitoring of your eye health at every visit. SPECTRALIS is used on the International Space Station to monitor the health of astronaut’s eyes and we have invested in the same trusted technology, which is considered to be the gold standard. So much so that many of the top ophthalmologists that we work closely with refer patients back to us for continuity of care.

So with that you can get peace of mind about your eye health here on earth.

OCT is a medical imaging technique that uses light waves to generate images of the back of your eye. It allows us  to see a detailed

three-dimensional view of your retina so that we can look at your eye in very fine detail.

This allows us to detect a wide range of eye conditions and is ideal for the management and maintenance of pre-existing eye conditions, such as glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

The eyes are the window to the soul, so this also allows us detect and monitor systemic health conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.
