Myopia is the medical term for short-sightedness. This means objects in the distance become blurry, and this typically starts to develop during early school years eg aged 6-16 years.
Unfortunately we can’t cure myopia, but for children of school age, there are a number of techniques we can use that slow down it’s progression.
Please look at the 4 short videos below which provide more information on myopia and how to manage it.
We are now back open and look forward to seeing you all again in our newly refurbished clinic. Thank you for your patience over the summer.
